Hi Estee.
Thank you so much for sharing your 3rd grade zoom reading session with me today, especially given the impromptu change of groups. I thought it went very well and both students were engaged in active learning. It was evident that you had read the story, reviewed the lesson, followed the lesson plan and were well-prepared for the session - even though we had discussed my observation of another group. I especially liked how you utilized technology throughout the lesson to provide proper guidance and deliver instruction: use of the mouse to follow and identify text, use of the internet to provide a visual of map of US, use of the chat box to define terms and for students to write responses regarding what they learned.
Your efforts in providing quality instruction to students during this particularly difficult time is duly noted and much appreciated. Have a great day! 😊 "
